DROWN MY DAY started to exist officialy at the end 2004 year in Cracow, Poland. Originally at that time members were seeking through talented and open minded guys trying to make core music having fun out of it. After a few line up changes finally 4 people (Zvish, Groov, Aro and Adam) gathered together and started to write first songs. During this period a second guitarist Motyl was found and agreed to join us. The whole 5 focused to become ready to show our music to a wider audience. In 2007 Drown My Day recorded their first DIY demo consist of 3 songs which gave an opportunity to play a lot of great shows with a lot of professional bands. All in all, band wanted to play a lot heavier, groovier and more metal. Everyone worked hard to make his skills higher and made this band write more, both interesting and advanced, songs. Beginning of 2008 was the time of recording new EP called "One Step Away From Silence". The whole process took more than a month and finally 5 new songs were done. Band signed a deal with polish independent label Spook Rec. and started to advertise itself through fans. DROWN MY DAY played (beside 10ths of smaller) a lot of bigger gigs with Pro Pain, Death before Dishonor, L'esprit Du Clan trying to make everything out of them to satisfy audience needs. Pararelly, from the beginning of 2009 DROWN MY DAY started to think about a new material. Having a lot of venues booked at that period, couldnt find a lot of time to focus on new songs, but slowly, month after month new ideas have been implemented. Before recording a full LP band made a decision to record a pre-production just to listen and check which parts are totally crap and need replacement. Finally it turned out that songs were generally OK so DROWN MY DAY being aware, nothing new has come out from them for 2 years and propably nobody rememeber "Drown my day" title, put 4 songs and named as 2nd official EP "Forgotten". An outcome has overgrown expectations. DMD got a lot of positive feedbacks and support from all over the world. Now, band has been on the level of ending work for their 1st official LP and concentrating on playing as many shows as possible! The main aim is to end and record the full CD as well!
